refreshing a pachyderm icon

For this brief, I was asked to further refine the client’s existing concept of an elephant holding a sprout, signifying balance, growth, and a connection to nature. This was the third design attempt for Movement Garden Gym in Austin, so I was determined to get it right. After looking up several profile pictures of elephants, zooming in on the tips of their trunks to study how they hold things, and emailing back and forth about how we wanted each angle to look, we landed on this beautiful final product. It’s always an honor to be given the chance to refresh someone’s logo, but this one was especially rewarding.
