a rare hoya immortalized

This was a fun one! Local grower Tracie wanted to commemorate her rare Hoya Pandurata specimen by using it as a muse for the logo of her plant business, which focuses on rare plants – hoyas in particular.

Having requested a muted palette and a delicate, dainty layout, I made sure to choose balanced greens, yellow, and pinks, and I balanced the size of the illustration in relation to the width of the type. The result is a gentle, soothing logo that is very recognizable at local plant markets!
