I had the joy of creating the illustration for Sazón Sin Ley’s packaging! Handmade by Evelyn in Massachusetts, this delicious sofrito, made for stirring into any dish, is meant to warm your heart wherever you call home. Evelyn wanted a really personal, intimate, and welcoming illustration of her holding a pilón with her go-to veggies inside, and with bouquets of cilantro and culantro surrounding her. The trickiest part of this brief was drawing her hands and choosing the best font for the job, but working with Evelyn’s vision and vibrant color palette made my job quite simple. “Buen provecho!”
