a love for growing all things green

For this brief made in heaven, I was given the task of creating a logo and banner for my good friend Jenna Yanes of The Jade Culture! Like many of us, Jenna’s passion for plants peaked during the pandemic, leading her to start her own houseplant business focused on lush greens and education.

Jenna knew that she wanted to use a Satin Pothos in her logo, along with a script and serif font combination. It was my job to create a leaf mark that was as minimalist as possible so it could still be easily recognized at any size, and to choose a banner design that would complement the logo and include a larger plant without appearing redundant. The end result is a vibrant print that greets dozens of visitors at our monthly plant markets!
