realty with a hint of glam
For this branding exercise, I was given the pleasure of creating a logo and portrait cartoon for Elizabeth Gassos, a Dallas/FTW-based realtor with a passion for flair and glam! Calling attention to her signature makeup look and hair in her portrait, along with choosing a feminine, yet professional script font for her initials, brings her friendly, reliable persona to life on the (web)page.
Elizabeth also needed some consistency on her Instagram profile, so I created some highlight covers with minimal, yet cheeky icons. The key here (pun 100% intended) was to create an icon family that paired well with Elizabeth’s unique personality and style. Leaning on bright colors, along with some midcentury-inspired shapes and clean typography, we settled on 8 icons that felt personalized and lively.
I also created a family of templates that can be used for a variety of purposes, ranging from tips for buyers, to new listings, to calls for specific buyer needs. Selecting a broad and vibrant color palette, creating consistent line forms, and defining specific rules for the usage of multiple font families led to the development of a template system that communicates reliability and professionalism with Elizabeth’s signature flair.
