a handmade mark for a dedicated maker

I had the honor of creating a custom wordmark for my dear friend, photographer and maker extraordinaire, Evelyn - also known as Xicanayork! Anyone who knows Evelyn knows how much heart and attention she puts into her work, whether digital or physical. I wanted to make sure that her logo radiated the same energy, warmth, and passion that she puts into all of her creative endeavors.

We wanted each letter to feel tailor made - each counter and terminal with flair, each shoulder conveying grace and attention. The final result is a testament to Evelyn’s artisanal and deeply personal work.
